On June 14, 2026, students from the Orillia Academy of Karate traveled to Toronto to compete in the annual Toronto Academy of Karate Tournament. The event brought together martial artists from across the region, and the Orillia students delivered an impressive performance, returning home with numerous awards. The students competed in two categories: Kata (patterns) and Kumite (sparring).

Cash Ainsworth: 4th in Kata, 3rd in Kumite
Sebastian Hmroko: 2nd in Kata, 1st in Kumite
Dhivet Vikram: 4th in Kata
Yellow Belts
Isaac Cuthbertson: 4th in Kata
Austin Hosseini-Ara: 1st in Kata, 4th in Kumite
Addison Lewis: 5th in Kata, 2nd in Kumite
Grayson Cooper: 4th in Kata
Brown Belts
Riley Masnica: 1st in Kata, 1st in Kumite
